Dual Line Phone Setup
To hook-up the Person-To-Person® device on a system with 2 Lines on one outlet connect Person-To-Person® Device as show below. Note one Person-To-Person® device is only able to Control/block one phone line, if you wish to block both lines you must have a 2nd Person-To-Person® Device. Also, note that you will need 2 line splitters/Combiners to get any Person-To-Person® Device to function with a dual Line Phone. The Line Splitter will have 3 RJ-11 Jacks one labeled L1, L2 and L1&L2. The one Labeled L1 on the 1 st splitter/combiner should be connected to the Line In of the 1st Person-To-Person® devices LINE IN jack. The one Labeled L2 on the 1 st splitter/Combiner should be connected to the Line In of the 2nd Person-To-Person® devices LINE IN jack. The Line Splitter should be connected to the wall jack. Plug the Power Adapter into the wall outlet. Connect the Phone Port on the 1st Person-To-Person to the L1on the 2nd Splitter/Combiner and connect the Phone Port on the 2nd Person-To-Person to the L2on the 2nd Splitter/Combiner. Connect the L1+L2 port of the 2nd splitter to the Dual Line Phone. Connect you answering machine into the ANS MACH Jack on the Person-To-Person® Device. If you wish to have blocked calls not go to the answering Machine then leave the ANS MACH Jack on the Person-To-Person® Device empty, and connect the answering machine in the L1+L2 on the 2nd Splitter Jack and connect your phone into the Answering Machine. Note this might require a splitter.
